Formerly the manufacturing plant and headquarters for the world famous Baker Chocolate, the renovated mill buildings that now make up the Baker Chocolate Factory Apartments, which consist of three buildings that were renovated in two phases, one in 1983 and the second in 1985. After each building''s nearly year long construction, the late 1800''s factor began its new life as home to residents of total of 133 moderate income apartments. The buildings are a combination of six, five and three-story masonry structures, which have many interesting architectural elements such as a mansard roof and a huge brick archway through which you must pass to enter the complex, above which is a cupola atop a slate roof original to the building. The buildings are situated along pleasantly landscaped interior cobblestone courtyards. The parking lot is conveniently located across the street and is nestled in behind other historic area buildings.

From MA-3 S: Take the COLUMBIA ROAD exit, exit number 15, towards J.F.K. LIBRARY. Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp. Turn LEFT onto COLUMBIA RD. Enter next roundabout and take 1st exit onto MORRISSEY BLVD. MORRISSEY BLVD becomes GALLIVAN BLVD/MA-203. Turn LEFT onto ADAMS ST.
