Pajaro Vista is a community of active seniors from all walks of life who are at least 62 years of age. Pajaro Vista offers a quality of lifestyle that is both peaceful and serene yet easily accessible to churches, shops, medical facilities and transportation. It is within walking distance to the Freedom Shopping Center. The grounds are well landscaped surrounding an interior courtyard with a large lawn and covered outdoor eating area for Al Fresco dining on hot summer nights. There are garden plots and garden beds available for those who like to garden, and pets are welcome.
The resident activity program is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people. It includes potluck dinners, holiday celebrations, barbeques, pancake breakfasts, card groups, poker night, bingo nights, and many more. Pajaro Vista offers gracious living in a wonderful environment.
Pajaro Vista is located in Freedom in Southern Santa Cruz County, adjacent to Watsonville, a community of 30,000 residents. Freedom is 12 miles south of Santa Cruz and 30 miles north of Monterey. The climate of Santa Cruz is temperate. Freedom is relatively free of summer fog and yet cooled by valley ocean breezes. The Freedom Shopping Center is within easy walking distance. Churches of many denominations are located within five miles. Pinto Lake Park is one mile away featuring fishing, boating and recreation vehicle parking. The Monterey Bay Area is known for its golf courses, beaches and sight seeing.
At Pajaro Vista, each full sized apartment home is complete with an all-electric kitchen, containing a range, frost-free two-door refrigerator, and garbage disposal.
