Subsidized Elderly community 62+. Lord Pepperell is a 4-story building containing 66 apartments for low-income elderly overlooking the Saco River. This development was the catalyst in revitalizing this once blighted neighborhood in Saco. Along with the usual health programs like foot care clinics, the Caleb service coordinator works with the resident activities committee or �Senior Club� on raffles, tag sales, BINGO, catered dinners and other attractions funded by the membership dues. A local farmers� market offers a �Farm Share� program that benefits all the residents of this community. Residents participate in a program called �Senior College� which invites Saco residents ages 55+ �to take a course or two� for a very low fee. Lord Pepperell residents have already filled the list.
